About

Allie Buttarazzi, MD, is a double board-certified internal medicine and lifestyle medicine physician, Direct Primary Care cofounder, and certified health and well-being coach. Through her clinical practice and health coaching, Dr. Buttarazzi specializes in empowering individuals — particularly women navigating midlife hormonal and metabolic shifts — to optimize health span, reverse chronic disease risk, and build sustainable vitality through science-backed lifestyle interventions.

She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Maine Medical Center. Her clinical philosophy is deeply informed by personal experience: After being diagnosed with celiac disease during medical school, she discovered firsthand the transformative impact of therapeutic nutrition and lifestyle medicine. That journey drives her mission to bridge conventional clinical care with root-cause, evidence-based habit change to help individuals optimize lifelong health span.
