12 Best Places to Find Zepbound Online in 2026

12 Best Places to Find Zepbound Online in 2026

It’s hard to miss the buzz around GLP-1 weight loss medications like Zepbound (tirzepatide). Praised for its effectiveness in weight loss and blood sugar control, Zepbound combines the satiety hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) with glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), which aids GLP-1 in promoting satiety. “These hormones work by slowing down how quickly our stomachs empty, decreasing blood glucose levels, causing feelings of fullness, and suppressing cravings,” says Jennifer Brown, MD, ABOM, board-certified family medicine practitioner with expertise in obesity medicine at Maxwelton Health Center in Maxwelton, West Virginia. Zepbound may be covered by insurance, though coverage varies.

Online providers can be a convenient solution for those without easy access to traditional pharmacies. However, Eric Smith, DO, FASMBS, bariatric surgeon and medical director at POP Recovery Systems in Georgetown, Kentucky, emphasizes prioritizing quality care over convenience. “Patients should only pursue Zepbound through a program that includes direct access to a licensed healthcare provider (not just an automated form), a thorough medical history and risk assessment, a clear explanation of the risks, benefits, and long-term expectations, and ongoing follow-up for side effect management and progress monitoring,” he says.

To help simplify the process of finding Zepbound online, we’ve carefully researched the available options, consulted with experts in obesity medicine, and compiled a list of our top choices to help you find safe and reliable ways to access this medication.

Editor’s Note: In addition to name-brand GLP-1s, some of the companies on this list may offer compounded options. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and may carry greater risks than FDA-approved treatments.

Our Top 12 Picks for the Best Places to Find Zepbound Online

When to Consult Your Doctor

Zepbound always requires a prescription and a health evaluation from a doctor to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for your needs. “These are powerful medications that affect metabolism, appetite, and digestion,” says Dr. Smith. “They’re not appropriate for everyone, and using them without proper medical guidance increases the risk of complications.”

Your doctor will review your medical history, discuss the potential risks and benefits, and determine whether Zepbound is the right option. While it may feel tempting to search for low-cost alternatives online or forgo follow-up care, doing so can increase the risk of serious side effects or reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

WeightWatchers Clinic integrates medical support with behavioral change support to aid in weight loss. The clinic offers telehealth access, prescription weight loss medications like Zepbound, and an app for tracking progress and maintaining healthy habits. Members are backed by a care team of licensed professionals, including doctors, RDs, and fitness coaches.

Care begins with a 5-minute eligibility quiz and consultation with a licensed clinician. If eligible, members may receive prescriptions for GLP-1 medications like Zepbound to be fulfilled at their preferred pharmacy. Membership also includes personalized care plans, virtual visits, one-on-one meetings with an RD for nutrition guidance, and fitness tools through the app. The app allows you to easily track activity and food intake. A big perk is that the first month is $25 when you commit to a year.

Although medication costs are separate, the care team works with members to secure insurance coverage or explore cost-saving options. Integrating diet, fitness, and medical support makes WeightWatchers a solid choice for safe access to GLP-1s.

Medvi logo

Best with 24/7 Support

MEDVi

Pros

  • Monthly cost includes prescription, appointments, personalized plan, and more
  • 24/7 access to specialists
  • Unlimited appointments and messaging
  • HSA/FSA eligible
  • Insurance may reimburse for prescriptions

    Cons

    • Insurance not accepted

    Key Specs

    • Membership fee: $179 for your first month, $299 per month thereafter
    • Additional support: Personalized plan, one-on-one guidance
    • Insurance accepted: No
    • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Wegovy pill

With 24/7 support, unlimited appointments and messaging with specialists as well as medication, a metabolic report, and a personalized weight loss plan all included in your monthly fee, you’ll feel comfortable knowing you’re getting a real bang for your buck when you choose to get your GLP-1s from MEDVi.

Your first stop is their online questionnaire, which helps a clinician determine whether a GLP-1 could be safe and effective for you. You then continue to have guidance via telehealth to reach your goals.

You won’t be able to use health insurance here, but the medication is HSA and FSA eligible, and some insurance providers may reimburse the cost of your medication. Plus, you can ask for the oral or injectable version of the drug.

    Sprout

    Best Quick Prescription:

    Sprout

    Pros

    • Prescriptions typically issued within 24 hours
    • Orders ship within 5–7 business days
    • Minimal appointments
    • Online messaging with your provider via the medical portal

      Cons

      • Oral medication not yet available at this site
      • Doesn’t accept insurance
      • Some may want more hands-on medical attention

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: No
      • Additional support: Online messaging with your provider via the medical portal
      • Insurance accepted: No
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy

We like how quick Sprout can get your new medication into your hands. The site requires minimal appointments (count on one before you’re officially prescribed), typically issues a prescription within 24 to 48 hours of your initial consultation, and ships within five to seven days.

You complete two quick questionnaires before your first appointment to determine eligibility, then you take a new online questionnaire before each prescription refill so your provider can check on your progress and health status.

Some patients may want a bit more presence from their healthcare provider, and Sprout does provide video appointments for those who prefer that form of communication. This platform only provides injectable versions of name-brand GLP-1 medications, so if you’re hoping to use oral GLP-1s, this may not be the site for you. The company also doesn’t accept insurance, but you can cancel your medication at any time.

      • Additional support: Montly or bi-monthly appointments with your care team, access to nutrition experts and health coaches, personalized weight loss plan

      • GLP-1s Available: Zepbound, Foundayo, Wegovy, Wegovy pill, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Trulicity, Rybelsus, Saxenda, Victoza

We listed Found as Best for Sustaining Weight Loss because the company takes a holistic approach, focusing on diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes in conjunction with GLP-1 medications when appropriate. You’ll have semi-monthly check-ins with a care team as well as access to nutrition experts, health coaches, and a personalized weight loss plan. Using MetabolicPrint, the company’s proprietary digital diagnostic support tool, your care team will be able to create a weight loss plan that’s based on your behavior, biological data, unique health traits, and root cause of your weight gain.

Because starting a GLP-1 is such a big, lifechanging step, your membership fee will cover up to four consultations with your medcal provider during the first month and up to two appointments monthly afterwards to help you address dose adjustments and side effects. You can either have your prescription filled at a local pharmacy or sent to you from Found’s third-party pharmacy, however, medication costs are not included in the membership.

      Sesame logo

      Best for Variety of Medications

      Sesame

      Pros

      • Widest variety of GLP-1 meds on this list
      • Membership includes virtual consultation and lab work
      • Med delivery available

      Cons

      • Slow to issue refunds
      • Medication not included in subscription cost
      • Communication with local pharmacies may encounter problems

      Key Specs

      • Additional support: Virtual doctor’s appointments, other types of healthcare
      • Insurance accepted: Yes for meds
      • GLP-1s Available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Wegovy pill, Foundayo, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Rybelsus, Saxenda, Victoza, Trulicity, Byetta, generic GLP-1s

If you’re thinking about taking Zepbound, but you want the ability to change medications if needed, Sesame offers a wide range of GLP-1 medications including generic versions, injectables, and oral GLP-1s like the Wegovy pill and the most recent GLP-1 introduced to the market, Foundayo. With virtual consultations and followups as well as unlimited messaging with your care team, you’ll be able to navigate the side effects and lifestyle changes you’ll encounter while taking your new medication. Another great thing about Sesame is that you can use it for your other medical care as well, such as urgent care appointments, mental health care, and more.

Your first step will be to fill out a medical instake form and select your provider on the platform. Your provider may want you to get lab work done for a more comprehensive picture of your health, which is included in your membership fee. If your prodiver decides a GLP-1 medication is appropriate, you’ll be able to have your meds delivered from one of Sesame’s partner pharmacies, or you can have the script filled by a local pharmacy. However, medication costs are not included in the membership fee. Sesame doesn’t accept insurance for healthcare, but medications may be covered by isnurance.

      Noom logo

      Best Psychology-Based Approach

      Noom Med

      Pros

      • Licensed clinicians determine medication eligibility
      • Behavioral tools complement medical treatment
      • GLP-1 Companion app offers additional support

      Cons

      • Medications not included in subscription cost
      • Membership subscription billed upfront for three months

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: First month is $69, then $297 for three months
      • Additional support: Unlimited telehealth visits and chat messaging, access to lessons on behavior change, nutrition, and coaches
      • Insurance accepted? Yes, for medications only
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Wegovy Pill, Ozempic, Mounjaro

Noom Med combines personalized medical care with additional support from Noom’s weight loss program. The service provides access to licensed clinicians and GLP-1 medications like Zepbound alongside tools and resources for building healthy habits. Noom Med integrates medication, nutrition guidance, fitness support, and behavioral coaching for a comprehensive weight loss program.

Noom Med starts with a detailed intake survey to assess eligibility. The program also features ongoing support through telehealth visits, chat messaging, and a care team that assists with insurance and fulfillment needs. You’ll get access to Noom’s GLP-1 Companion app, which offers lessons on medication, nutrition education, and support. You can track food to make sure you’re meeting nutrient goals, watch fitness videos to limit muscle loss, and access guides to help with common side effects.

A membership includes telehealth access and behavioral resources, but it doesn’t include the cost of medications. Like Ro, members of Noom’s program have access to coaches, but these aren’t always RDs who can provide specific meal plan recommendations. Noom Med is a solid choice for those who want to combine medication with behavioral strategies, but it is likely best suited for those who are motivated to learn and follow the online programs (versus those looking for more personalized support).

PlushCare simplifies access to weight loss medications like Zepbound while prioritizing affordability. The service is ideal for those with access to additional nutrition support who don’t need the comprehensive care offered by some other platforms.

PlushCare’s program begins with a telehealth appointment, where a doctor will evaluate your medical history and order labs to assess eligibility. If you have insurance, your initial visit may be partially or fully covered. The first 30 days of membership are free, but medication is not included in the membership.

Prescriptions are sent to your local pharmacy for convenience. PlushCare also offers LillyDirect as an option for filling your medication. Access to same-day appointments, discounted labs, and in-app messaging with your care team are included with your monthly fee, but you won’t see additional perks like health coaches or RDs to support healthy habits.

      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Foundayo, Victoza, Rybelsus, Saxenda, Trulicity, generic liraglutide

It’s important that your weight loss plan doesn’t start and stop at GLP-1s. Hims/ Hers sets you on the right track by offering nutrition education, healthy recipes, behavioral coaching, a personalized weight loss plan, and more, on top of your GLP-1 prescription. Weight loss experts can help you with meal planning, grocery lists, advice on starting a new exercise routine, getting better sleep, stress-reduction, and more. All of these can help set you up for successful weight loss, so you’ll be treating your whole self rather than just weight gain.

After an online intake form, you’ll schedule a meeting with a clinician who will determine whether GLP-1s are right for you. Appointments are quick and typically scheduled within a day or two of signing up. Hims/Hers offers regular follow-ups with your care team to help manage side effects, medication management, and weight loss goals. And the company sends the medications right to your door — no need to leave the house. The company doesn’t accepted insurance but the program is FSA/HSA-eligible.

      Ro logo

      Best with Health Coaching

      Ro

      Pros

      • Licensed medical providers for prescriptions
      • Ongoing access to provider support
      • Insurance concierge for coverage assistance

      Cons

      • Membership required
      • Medications not included in membership

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: First month is $45, with subsequent months at $145 a month
      • Additional support: Access to health coaching via Ro Body, unlimited messaging, online lessons about healthy habits
      • Insurance accepted? Yes, for medications only
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic

Ro offers access to Zepbound through its telehealth platform and membership program, Ro Body. With licensed providers, medication delivery via LillyDirect, and support features like insurance coordination and ongoing provider care, Ro provides a comprehensive approach to treatment.

After signing up with Ro, a provider reviews your medical history and orders labs to ensure Zepbound is appropriate for your health needs. If you have insurance, Ro helps verify your benefits to find out what your insurance will cover.

According to Ro, the cost of the medication depends on insurance coverage and your pharmacy of choice. Zepbound can cost as little as $25 with a Zepbound savings card (if covered by insurance) to as much as about $1,050 per month for a cash payment. Ro also offers Zepbound vials directly from LillyDirect as a cash-pay option, which can significantly decrease costs. Pens are prefilled single-use injections, while vials have the syringe and needle separate, which adds more steps for the user, but often makes the drug more affordable. Vials are also only available in lower doses, so those needing a higher dose may be unable to use this option.

Ro Body, Ro’s weight loss membership program, combines medication management with healthy lifestyle habits. The membership doesn’t include the cost of medication, which some may consider a downside. However, regular provider check-ins, unlimited messaging for side effect management or dosage adjustments, and access to health coaching for additional support offer guidance to help users stay on track.

A limitation is the lack of direct access to an RD for personalized meal planning or nutrition advice. Despite this, Ro Body provides a balanced approach to weight management for individuals who prefer ongoing basic virtual support.

      Walgreens logo

      Best Appointment Hours

      Walgreens Weight Management

      Pros

      • Appointments available 7 days a week, 7 a.m.–11 p.m.
      • Affordable prices
      • Access to licensed medical professionals for prescriptions
      • No subscription or membership needed
      • Chat and video appointments available

      Cons

      • Doesn’t accept insurance
      • Doesn’t handle prior authorizations for GLP-1 medications
      • Most follow-ups conducted via chat

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: None
      • Additional support: On-demand chat and video appointments
      • Insurance accepted: No
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Foundayo

Walgreens offers telehealth and weight loss medications through Walgreens Weight Management, with appointments readily available between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., seven days a week. Prices for appointments and medications are more affordable than many of the platforms on this list, and no membership fee or subscription is needed.

First, you fill out a short online questionnaire about your health history. The next step is a virtual visit with a provider with Walgreens Weight Management, who determines whether you’re an eligible candidate for GLP-1 therapy. On-demand appointments with licensed MDs and RNs are available for medication adjustments and side effect management, though most of these are via the chat feature on the website (however, patients can request video appointments if they’d prefer).

A blood test isn’t necessary for your first prescription, but before you refill, your provider will want to see an HbA1c test and a basic or comprehensive metabolic blood panel test. You can provide one you’ve done within the last 12 months, or you can order one through Walgreens Weight Management.

Patients should know that if they’ve been prescribed a GLP-1 on another platform or via another provider, Walgreens Weight Management cannot continue that prescription; they’ll have to go through the process of being approved by one of the team’s doctors and get a new prescription through them.

      Lilly Direct logo

      Best for Affordability

      LillyDirect

      Pros

      • Self-pay options directly through LillyDirect
      • Offers lower prices for vials compared to auto-injector pens
      • Helps patients avoid risks associated with counterfeit or compounded versions of Zepbound

      Cons

      • Availability limited to single-dose vials
      • Doesn’t offer comprehensive care beyond filling prescription

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: None
      • Additional support: None
      • Insurance accepted: Yes
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound

LillyDirect is a health platform created by Eli Lilly, the pharmaceutical company behind Zepbound. Designed to offer a potentially more cost-effective way to safely purchase Zepbound online, its approach is as simple as it gets. You won’t find additional care team services like nutrition counseling or lifestyle coaching. All you pay for is the medication itself, making it an appealing choice for affordability.

Pricing is the key benefit of LillyDirect. Because you’re only paying for the medication without additional support, there are no membership or initial consultation fees. For individuals without insurance, self-pay vial pricing is noticeably lower than the retail costs of prefilled pens (which average more than $1,000 without insurance). A 4-week supply of 2.5-milligram doses is priced at $349 with this service. For those with insurance, prices are as low as $25, depending on coverage. Even if your insurance doesn’t cover Zepbound, LillyDirect may offer discounted rates to help reduce costs.

Several options on our list utilize LillyDirect to streamline fulfillment. Alternatively, prescriptions from your local physician can also be sent straight to LillyDirect. If you don’t already have a provider, the platform gives several options for connecting users to virtual health providers, though these are not offered through LillyDirect itself.

While LillyDirect is a convenient and budget-friendly option, it’s best for people who already have their nutrition and lifestyle management strategies in place and a prescription already written. Since weight loss medications require proper monitoring, this solution may not be ideal for everyone. “I see so many patients on these medications without sound advice on body composition,” says Christiane Matey, MSHS, RDN, and founder of Mint Nutrition in Mooresville, North Carolina. “They lose a lot of muscle mass and gain weight back after. A comprehensive plan with coordination of care ensures patients are successful with the medications and have lasting results. We see this all the time in practice.” Those who need more support or don’t have access to consistent care may want to explore another program.

      LifeMD Plus logo

      Best for Weight-Loss Guarantee

      LifeMD

      Pros

      • Money-back guarantee
      • Personalized weight-loss program including access to GLP-1s
      • Help navigating insurance coverage
      • Lab work included in membership fee

      Cons

      • Not all insurance plans accepted

      Key Specs

      • Membership fee: $75/month with 1-year commitment, plus cost of medication
      • Additional support: Access to health coaches
      • Insurance accepted: Yes, though government healthcare not accepted
      • GLP-1s available: Zepbound, Wegovy, Wegovy pill, Ozempic, Foundayo, and Saxenda

Want to try a GLP-1 but nervous about the overhead costs? LifeMD offers a money-back guarantee if you don’t lose 10 percent of your body weight on the medication (however, your membership fee is non-refundable). You’ll get access to brand names like Ozempic, Zepbound, Saxenda, Wegovy, and the Wegovy pill, plus access to expert clinicians and weight loss coaching. Your membership also covers any necessary lab work.

Your first step is an online assessment, which will be reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider at LifeMD, who will determine whether a GLP-1 is appropriate for you. If it’s been over a year since you’ve had lab work done, your provider may require you to get lab work done for a better picture of your overall health, including your metabolism. Regular appointments with your care team will help you manage dose adjustments and any side effects that arise. And with LifeMD, you’ll be able to make appointments with health coaches to help you with your lifestyle changes as you drop weight.

The cost of medication isn’t included in the monthly fee, and LifeMD doesn’t accept insurance coverage for the membership fee. LifeMD can help you find out if your insurance will cover your medication, though the company doesn’t accept government healthcare like Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare.

What to Look for When Buying Zepbound Online

“GLP-1 medications are powerful tools, but only when used responsibly within a comprehensive medical framework,” says Smith. This means working with your local doctor or choosing an online provider who doesn’t just issue prescriptions, but also offers thorough evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and personalized care to support your health throughout the treatment process.

Smith suggests considering the following key factors when purchasing Zepbound online:

      • Comprehensive Initial Evaluation Smith says working with a provider who conducts a full initial assessment is essential. This evaluation should take into account medical history, weight-related conditions, and potential contraindications and include a clear explanation of risks, benefits, and alternatives.
      • Follow-Up Visits Avoid providers who offer automated refills. Smith advises seeking a care model with regular follow-ups to adjust treatment as needed.
      • Lab Monitoring When you eat less, you’re more at risk for vitamin deficiencies, so Smith recommends only working with care providers who offer routine blood work. “Many of these deficiencies (like thiamine or B12) can go undetected without routine blood work, but they may have serious consequences if left unaddressed,” says Smith.

      • Access to Ongoing Support Smith emphasizes the importance of having support for your weight loss journey. This includes follow-up appointments with your provider, nutrition and supplement support from a nutrition expert like an RD, and additional tools for exercise and other healthy habits.
      • Pricing Transparency Look for providers who clearly outline costs, including membership and medication pricing, so you’re fully informed upfront.

What Is Zepbound, and How Does It Work?

Zepbound is an injectable medication, taken once a week, that helps with weight loss and blood sugar control. According to Smith, it mimics glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), two hormones your body produces to regulate blood sugar levels and promote feelings of satiety, or fullness. “It slows gastric emptying, suppresses appetite, and improves insulin sensitivity,” Smith explains.

Weight loss with Zepbound occurs primarily because the medication helps you consume fewer calories by reducing hunger and increasing feelings of fullness. This makes it easier to stick to a lower-calorie diet and create the calorie deficit necessary for weight loss. Additionally, Zepbound targets what people call “food noise” — the constant mental chatter or preoccupation with food cravings that can make weight management challenging. People may feel more in control of their eating habits by suppressing cravings, which can encourage sustainable weight-loss results over time.

Even though GLP-1 medications are effective, diet and exercise are still essential for long-term health. A balanced diet helps prevent nutrient deficiencies and may help mitigate the loss of lean body mass, while resistance training supports muscle preservation and overall strength.

      Who May Benefit From Zepbound?

Zepbound is FDA-approved for adults who meet the following criteria:

While Zepbound is a powerful tool for managing weight and related health conditions, it works best with sustainable behavior changes, such as healthy eating habits, regular physical activity, and ongoing medical monitoring.

What Are the Side Effects of Zepbound?

Zepbound is effective for weight loss, but it can have potential side effects due to its impact on digestion. Slowing the rate at which the stomach empties helps control hunger and calorie intake, but this can lead to gastrointestinal symptoms. Common side effects include nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain. For many people, the gastrointestinal symptoms decrease over time.

While GLP-1 medications support substantial weight loss, they also significantly reduce the amount of food consumed, which can affect overall nutrition. “Because of its effects on digestion and satiety, patients often eat significantly less, which can result in nutrient deficiencies if dietary needs aren’t addressed,” Smith explains.

Talk with your healthcare provider and dietitian about creating a plan to meet your nutrient needs. Combining this medication with a healthy, balanced diet and regular follow-up appointments can help you achieve safe, long-term results.

      Does Insurance Cover Zepbound?

Zepbound may be covered by insurance if you meet specific eligibility criteria, but coverage often depends on your health plan. “[Some] Medicare and most Medicaid plans don’t include weight loss medications in their formulary,” explains Dr. Brown. “For those insurance plans that do cover weight loss meds, there’s usually a prior authorization process that ensures the patient meets the criteria and doesn’t have any contraindications to Zepbound.”

For individuals with private insurance, many online programs allow you to apply for coverage for medication and part of a subscription service, though out-of-pocket rates and savings may vary. Quadruple board-certified physician Supriya Rao, MD, DABOM, ABLM, who practices internal medicine, gastroenterology, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine at Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants in Lowell, Massachusetts, advises that while purchasing Zepbound online with insurance can be a convenient option, it’s important to exercise caution. “Make sure the platform you’re using is legitimate and collaborates with licensed healthcare providers to avoid unnecessary risks,” she says.

      FAQ

Is Zepbound the same as Mounjaro?
Both medications contain tirzepatide, which mimics hormones regulating appetite and blood sugar. “The difference lies in the use: Zepbound is FDA-approved for weight management, and Mounjaro is approved for type 2 diabetes,” says Dr. Matey.
Zepbound is a prescription medication that can’t be purchased over the counter. You’ll need a prescription from a licensed healthcare provider to obtain Zepbound.
“Compounded tirzepatide isn’t recommended. There’s no way to ensure the product’s quality and safety. It’s best to stick with Zepbound,” advises Brown. These compounded versions are not FDA-approved, which raises significant safety and efficacy concerns.
To ensure the Zepbound you’re buying online is legitimate, work with licensed providers and only purchase from licensed and reputable pharmacies. “You should only use Zepbound if you have a valid prescription from a licensed medical doctor,” says Dr. Rao. “If you find a site that is offering it without a consultation or prescription, do not buy it. Unfortunately, pricing that seems too good to be true usually is.”
