The 5 Best Menopause Resources of 2026
Stocksy

Trusted Health Resource 2026Hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and mood swings are among the most common symptoms of menopause. And yet, it’s not always easy to realize that you’re in the early stages of perimenopause until you’ve been experiencing symptoms for months (or more).

That’s because, for many women, menopause is underdiscussed and undertreated. Nearly 84 percent of women going through menopause don’t seek care for their symptoms; of these, about 20 percent say they aren’t familiar with any safe or effective treatments.

To shrink those numbers, some of the leading menopause organizations around the country are trying to set the record straight by educating the public about the symptoms, treatment options, long-term health impacts, and more.

The Menopause Society

As one of the best-known menopause nonprofits, the Menopause Society is committed to helping health professionals care for those approaching menopause and those in midlife.

To that end, the organization has a menopause practitioner locator, which connects people with providers who are members of the Menopause Society or who are certified Menopause Society practitioners. The website also hosts a variety of educational materials, including a downloadable copy of The Menopause Guidebook and the video series The Menopause Society Show.

You can message the staff directly or contact the Menopause Society on Facebook, Instagram, and X.

Let’s Talk Menopause

Let’s Talk Menopause is a national nonprofit that aims to do just that — talk about menopause. The group leads the Hello Menopause podcast and features in-depth discussions with gynecologists, physical therapists, and psychologists through a series of monthly talks. The group also regularly taps some of the leading experts in the field to share tips and advice about everything from insomnia to irritability and urinary issues. Follow Let’s Talk Menopause on Facebook and Instagram.

Women Living Better

Women Living Better brings a research-first approach to its work, in which a team of expert advisers have compiled educational materials and other resources, including what to know about treatments such as hormone therapy and nonhormonal therapies.

The group also features a robust community where you can hear firsthand accounts of women in perimenopause, discuss how menopause is treated in the media, and share your own experiences through surveys, polls, and more. Follow Women Living Better on Facebook and Instagram.

National Menopause Foundation

The National Menopause Foundation is committed to educating women about menopause and how to live healthfully postmenopause. The website offers a series of educational courses from leading experts in the field about how hormonal changes can impact everything from sex to sleep, and gives useful tips on how to cope with the symptoms.

Another initiative is the group’s peer-to-peer support community, which allows women to share their experiences, concerns, and advice for others about this stage of life. You can stay in touch on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube as well.

Red Hot Mamas

Red Hot Mamas was established in 1991, after its founder, Karen Giblin, experienced a sudden onset of menopause symptoms and was inundated with questions from women who couldn’t find reliable information about the condition. Since then, Red Hot Mamas has aimed to fill this knowledge gap.

For up-to-date information, you can subscribe to their monthly e-newsletter, visit the website for a Menopause A-Z Guide, or join the Red Hot Mamas support group to connect with others. Follow the group on Facebook and X.
